This testing has been pursued together with different nine Ukrainian brands. Kvass group of ten trade marks have been checked in laboratory according to organoleptic characteristics, dry matters content, also yeast, lactic and alcohol presence, which are the logical consequence of organic kvass production by fermentation.
Unfortunately, experts admit, nonorganic kvass tastes better than organic, therefore it’s more popular. Also, there is a longstanding habit of Ukrainian customer for synthetic aromatizers, so they choose bright and tasty soda, instead of live organic and health-giving kvass.
According to experts organic kvass can be differentiated among others with its light color and less content of carbonic.
The Independent Consumer Examination Research Center «TEST» is public institution for customers protection. Its basic activity is related to testing, quality research and goods and service safety.
