“Ridna Marka” Corporation and IC “Krayina” congratulated inmates of Children’s Home in Vasilkov, Kiev district, on the International Children’s Day. The native producer of beverages pleased kids with attention, intercourse, toys and useful natural juices by TM “Mriya”. “UPI Group” joined to these congratulations, too. On the arrival day organizers of charity action together with children set out to the nearby forest for a picnic with “a field kasha”. Kids competed in relay-race, played football, badminton, chatted and spent a good time. The extempore football competition between “Dark” and “Light” showed the high level of pupil’s technique. The inmates participated with joy in festive picnic’s preparation, organized by “Ridna Marka” Corporation and IC “Krayina”. The variable weather didn’t hinder kids to enjoy the outdoor holiday. And the words of children: “Thanks, it was the very “cool” picnic ever!” were the best reward for organizers! Note: The municipal Children’s Home of mixed type “Sonechko” in Vasilkov is based on former kindergarden. For 01/06/09 there are 26 inmates from 5 till 17 years in trusteeship. These are children-orphans and kids, whose parents are deprived of parent’s rights. The International Children’s Day, which is celebrated the first day of summer, is one of the oldest international holidays. The decision about its celebration, has been made by International Democratic Woman Federation during a special session in November 1949. The first International Children’s Day has been celebrated in 1950. UNO has supported this initiative and declared the children’s rights, lives and health protection one of the most priority items of its activity.
